What is the Sessions Affiliate Program and how can I apply?

The Sessions Affiliate Program is a way for people who use and love Sessions to promote the platform to their network and followers and earn financial rewards. The program is managed by Cello, a trusted third-party referral partner platform.

Is there a difference between the Referral and Affiliate Programs?

Yes, the Referral Program was designed for individuals who want to quickly share Sessions with their friends and colleagues, whereas the Affiliate Program is designed for professional partners and influencers. The programs have different reward structures. Click here to go to the Referral Program.

What needs to happen for me to earn?

You’ll earn a commission when someone signs up for a paid plan within 90 days of clicking your affiliate link. Commissions are paid on a last-click basis, so your link must be the last touchpoint before the person signs up.

Will my link change or expire over time?

No, your unique link always stays the same and cannot expire.

Will the person I refer get a once-off discount?

No, they’ll get a lifetime discount. But if they downgrade to a free plan and upgrade again later, or miss a payment, they’ll lose their discount.

What about the 10-day free trial and refund period?

Everyone who signs up for Sessions gets a 10-day free trial and a 30-day refund period. You’ll receive your first reward after this is over.

What if the person I referred buys add-ons?

If your referral buys extra recording hours or adds more team members, your rewards will increase accordingly.

What if my referral increases their number of team members or upgrades to higher tier later on?

Your rewards will increase accordingly.

What happens if the person I referred downgrades or cancels their subscription?

If they downgrade to a lower tier, your rewards will decrease. If they downgrade to FREE or delete their account, you’ll stop receiving rewards.

If my referral purchases an annual plan, will I get paid annually or monthly?

You’ll get paid monthly.

How can I track my rewards?

Once your affiliate application has been approved, you’ll automatically be added to the Cello portal. Log in to see your dashboard with detailed stats of your referrals and sales.

When will I get paid?

When someone signs up for a paid plan via your link, you'll receive a monthly commission for as long as their paid subscription stays active. If the person cancels their subscription or downgrades to FREE, your commission will fall away. Please note that a 30-day waiting period applies between rewards being earned and payments being made.

Is there a minimum amount I need to earn before I’ll receive a payout?

No, once you’ve entered your payment details, you’ll automatically get paid your rewards after a 30-day waiting period. (The waiting periods acts as a buffer in case the person asks for a refund.)

Through which platform will I be paid?

When setting up your profile on Cello, you’ll get the chance to fill in your PayPal or Venmo details.

Why haven’t I received my reward yet?

The reward might still be in the waiting period, please log in to Cello to check the date and status of your reward. Also, make sure that you’ve entered your payment details correctly. Lastly, the Cello system might have detected fraud or a self-referral. If the problem persists, please contact support@cello.so.
